On Jan 24^th, Alicia Hart forwarded an email informing local high schools that a spring HS league similar to the fall HS league is being form.   *See original email below this posting.
 
I am willing to organize a team (or two teams if enough interest) for prospective NCHS Rams players for this spring.  This team would not be affiliated with the HS nor is it part of any pre-season program NCHS offers as noted in the website posting. 
 
Any players grades 8 through 11 who intend to play for NCHS in 2012-13 are eligible for this team.   Games would be played at TCR and Shelton on the weekends.  There will be 10 games and playoffs.  I’ll get more details if it looks like we’ll have enough interest to register a team and I’ll also find a professional coach to be on the bench if none of our coaches are able to participate.    
 
Please email   if interested.   Also, please let 8^th and 9^th grade players not currently with the Rams know about this potential team.  I will be sending this email to New Canaan Winter Club, DYHA and MFYHA Bantam teams and players as well to try to reach those players.

We are going to go forward with a spring HS league, here are some of the particulars;

• Intra League with TCR and The Rinks at Shelton
• 10 games, 1 practice, playoffs and championship game
• Open to players in current grades 8 through 11
• Games on the weekends (no traffic issues)
• Register as a full or partial team or as an individual
• Season start Week of April 2^nd
• The cost will be the same as the Fall League 3750.00 per team or @ 250.00 per player.
